CAKE TASTING AND CONSULTATION

We invite you and one (1) guest to one complimentary cake tasting/consultation, by appointment, to sample our cakes and review our portfolio. We also request that the person who will make the final decision for your wedding cake be present at the tasting. Additional tastings are limited to weekdays, for a fee, and are subject to availability. As a courtesy, we request a minimum of 48 hours notice should you need to cancel your appointment. If notice of an appointment cancellation or an appointment reschedule is not confirmed to The Art of Cake within 48 hours, and a revised appointment is requested, then a $25.00 tasting charge will be incurred.

Tastings and consultations will be held at a location of your choosing, or at the following reserved Governors Club Board Room located on the second floor of the Clubhouse at the Governors Club located at 11000 Governors Club Drive, Chapel Hill, NC - 919-933-7500. Directions are as follows:

To Governors Club From Raleigh: Take I-40 West to Exit 273A (Hwy 54 West). Turn left at the second light, Farrington Road. Drive approximately 2 miles to Farrington Mill Road, turn left. Go 3 miles, turn right on Whipporwill, then take the 1st left on Governors Drive. Drive through Governors Village and cross Mt. Carmel Church Road at the light.
From Downtown Chapel Hill: Take Hwy. 15-501 (South) to Mt. Carmel Church Road and turn left. The Governors Club entrance is 3.5 miles on the right.
From Raleigh/Durham International Airport: Follow signs to I-40 West to exit 273A (Hwy. 54 West). Turn left at the second light, which is Farrington Road. Drive approximately 2 miles to Farrington Mill Road and turn left. Drive 4 miles to the stop sign at Mt. Carmel Church Road and turn right. The Governors Club entrance is 1/2 mile on the left.
From I-85 South: Travel on I-85 South to 15-501 South. Take 15-501 South toward and around Chapel Hill. At one point, it will split and veer to the right. You follow the sign that says 15-501 South toward Pittsboro. That will bring you to a traffic light. Turn left at that light. At the second traffic light past that, turn left onto Mt. Carmel Church Road. The Governors Club entrance is 3.5 miles on the right.
